The Pelham Resort Motel Hampton, Hampton

We had a generally enjoyable stay at the motel, with a lovely ocean view and friendly staff. However, the steep stairs to our room were a bit of a challenge, and we were often disturbed by garbage trucks in the morning. The breakfast options were a nice touch, though they could be more varied.

My stay had its ups and downs. The location was decent, and I loved the oceanfront view, but the overall experience was less than ideal. The rooms were small and lacked basic amenities. While there were some pleasant interactions with staff, the service wasn’t consistent, especially during checkout. The facilities, especially the pool, were overcrowded and frustrating.

This hotel boasts an unbeatable location right on the strip, perfect for beach access and entertainment. The unique porch offers great people-watching and a relaxed atmosphere. The rooms may not be the fanciest, but they do the job well enough for a beach stay. The parking situation can be tricky and the stairs are steep, but these quirks are balanced by its charm and value for the price.
